My husband and I are building an "accessory dwelling unit" on 20 acres we own in rural Whatcom County WA. We are calling it The Hut. Stay tuned for status reports and pictures during construction!

Today the excavation team is on site. Spreading top soil where we will want grass and spreading gravel for the driveway and parking areas. Our builder, Bruce, just sent me these pictures from his phone--in action as I type!
